2017 is the ascendent new album from New Zealand's most-beloved visual artist / synth-wizard: Daif. Having visited our pending futures, Daif has returned glistening with the dew of a new-day; presenting us citizens of 2014 with a selection of work lightly fragranced by the potpourri of an optimistic tomorrow. Sharing with us a vision of soon. Consent to adventure and you'll find yourself an astral-spectator of terrestrial grooves, pearlescent percussion and explorative synthesising. A journey through rambunctious R'n'B beats, phuturistic bass and serene-gliding melodies, where calm waves quell the nausea of having been thrusted through time itself.

Daif King is a multi-genre musical-freeman from Wellington, New Zealand. His interdimensional-explorations navigate the perimeters of thoughtful-music, from his being ½ of jock-rock electro-pop duo Golden Axe, to his spacey-solo pulp-investigations as Daif. 2017 sees Daif come-down off of the streetwise-strut of 2012's "EZ Street" and casually shrugs off the low-fidelity crunch of 2011's "Later Dood", emerging in a future-fabric toga, beckoning us towards a newer-age. Escape the crude present and project yourself forward 3 years, witness the earths enduring orbit as we collectively hurtle through space, converging finally at our inevitable-destination: 2017.
